on october 18 , 854 , he was appointed to gyobu no taifu (senior assistant minister of justice ) while he was still serving as the governor of tajima province , and on march 9 , 855 , he was ordered to compile a national history with fujiwara no yoshifusa and tomo no yoshio . 斉衡元年9月23日 (旧暦)（854年10月18日）に但馬守兼務のまま刑部大輔に任じられ、斉衡2年2月17日 (旧暦)（855年3月9日）には藤原良房・伴善男らとともに国史編纂を命じられた。
